Shift5 Raises $75 Million in Series C

Shift5, a Rosslyn, Virginia-based operational intelligence platform for defense and transportation systems, has raised $75 million in Series C funding.

The round was led by Hedosophia, with participation from Insight Partners, Center 15 Capital, 645 Ventures, Moore Strategic Ventures, Booz Allen Ventures, Squadra Ventures, AE Industrial, Disruptive, CSP Equity Partners, and Savano Capital Partners.

Hedosophia is a global venture capital firm founded in 2012. It invests in a variety of sectors, including fintech, enterprise SaaS, marketplaces, and consumer platforms. The firm is headquartered in London, with additional offices in Paris, Los Angeles, and Guernsey.

The company will use the funds to accelerate R&D for next-generation OT capabilities, expand go-to-market operations, and grow its presence across defense and commercial transportation markets.
