SiftMed Raises New Funding
SiftMed, based in St. John's, Newfoundland, provides an AI platform that organizes, reviews, and extracts insights from medical claims. The company has secured a new round of funding, bringing its total capital raised to over 10 million dollars.
The round was led by Staircase Ventures, with additional participation from Pelorus VC and a group of Verafin founders.
SiftMed plans to use the capital to deepen the auditability and reporting features of its platform, expand its insurance-focused product and engineering teams, and grow its footprint among insurance carriers, independent medical examiners, and legal teams.
