Simplismart Raises $7 Million in Series A

Simplismart, a Bangalore, India-based company that offers MLOps solutions focused on simplifying AI infrastructure, has raised $7 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Accel, with participation from Shastra VC, Titan Capital, and high-profile angel investor Akshay Kothari, Co-Founder of Notion.

Accel is a global venture capital firm that partners with exceptional teams from inception through all stages of private company growth. Over the past 40+ years, Accel has helped ambitious entrepreneurs build iconic global businesses.

The fresh funding will fuel R&D and support growth for its enterprise-focused MLOps platform.

Founded in 2022 by Amritanshu Jain and Devansh Ghatak, Simplismart is a cloud-agnostic MLOps workflow orchestration platform that helps organizations streamline the fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring of AI models at scale. It uses a declarative language similar to Terraform to standardize workflows and offers an inference engine designed to efficiently run open-source models across different modalities (e.g., text, image) with high performance. Simplismart helps enterprises navigate cost-vs-latency tradeoffs for generative AI models in production and includes additional features such as scaling, benchmarking, and SLA management.
