SpeedLabs Raises $6.5M Seed

SpeedLabs, a United States-based sports technology startup, has raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round to support the development of its artificial intelligence-powered live sports market platform. The company is building a real-time trading engine called Momentum Markets designed to create and price new betting and prediction markets based on live game action.

The funding round was led by Parlay Capital Holdings, with participation from Bullpen Capital, TA Ventures, and EdgeEquity.

SpeedLabs intends to use the capital to hire across leadership, engineering, machine learning, trading, sports betting, and growth roles to support its planned summer 2026 launch.

Founded by CEO Nick Meader, SpeedLabs is a sports technology company focused on building the underlying infrastructure for the next generation of sportsbooks and prediction market operators. Their platform uses proprietary AI foundation models to analyze live sporting events and generate real-time, event-based markets that allow users to trade on momentum shifts.
