Tekst Raises $13.5 Million Series A

Tekst, a Ghent, Belgium-based AI startup focused on enterprise workflow automation and process intelligence, has raised $13.5 million (€11.5M) in Series A funding.

Led by Elephant, a venture capital firm based in the United States that focuses on early-stage and growth-stage investments in technology companies. The firm invests in enterprise software, consumer internet, and mobile markets and partners with visionary entrepreneurs to help them scale and build market-leading solutions.

The company will use the funding to support product development and international expansion. Tekst also plans to double its headcount by the end of the year, with a focus on hiring for engineering and go-to-market roles.

Founded in 2022 by Wouter Janssen and Tiebe Parmentier, Tekst develops agentic process automation technology that helps enterprises uncover and structure operational workflows hidden across emails, PDFs, approvals, and enterprise systems. Its platform analyzes digital process trails to provide contextual intelligence for AI agents, enabling the automation of data entry, approvals, customer service workflows, and back-office operations. Tekst integrates with enterprise software platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft tools.
