telli Raises $15M Seed

Berlin-based telli, a startup building AI agents for customer operations, has secured $15 million in seed funding. This latest round brings the company's total funding to $18.5 million, following a previous $3.6 million pre-seed round.

The round was led by redalpine, a venture capital firm known for its investments in European technology companies. Additional participating investors included Cherry Ventures, Y Combinator, Mutschler, and various unnamed angels.

While the company has not provided a specific breakdown of fund allocation, the capital will support telli's efforts to scale its operations and enhance its platform as it aims to compete with incumbent telephony and contact-center providers.

Founded in 2024 by Finn zur Mühlen, Philipp Baumanns, and Seb Hapte-Selassie, telli develops AI-powered agents designed to handle voice, WhatsApp, chat, and email conversations for B2C enterprises. The company's platform includes an AI coworker called Charlie, which monitors and improves agent performance, helping brands like Sky, Enpal, and Vaillant automate customer-facing interactions.
