Thread Raises $18 Million Growth Equity

Thread, a San Francisco, CA–based AI-powered service intelligence platform for managed service providers, has raised an $18 million in growth equity investment.

The round was led by Susquehanna Growth Equity, with participation from Headline, bringing Thread's total capital raised to $30 million.

Susquehanna Growth Equity is an entrepreneur-centric growth equity firm founded in 2006. It specializes in providing flexible, patient capital to high-growth software, information services, and tech-enabled businesses across North America, Europe, and Israel. With over $4.6 billion invested, SGE focuses on growth-stage companies with established revenues, often taking both minority and controlling stakes in sectors such as fintech, marketing tech, SaaS, and healthcare IT.

The funding will accelerate the development of agentic AI products, expand Thread’s platform capabilities, and enhance AI-driven service delivery for managed service providers.
