Tracelight Raises $3.6 Million in Seed Round

Tracelight, a London, UK-based AI startup transforming financial modeling workflows, has raised $3.6 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Chalfen Ventures, with participation from Acequia Capital, Inovo, Entrepreneur First (EF), and angel investors including Charlie Songhurst and Suhit Gupta.

Chalfen Ventures is a solo venture capital firm based in London, UK. The firm specializes in early-stage investments, particularly in pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds for European software startups. Chalfen Ventures focuses on identifying and supporting companies that aim to dominate new and often unconventional markets.

The company will use the funds to expand its team, accelerate product development, and scale its AI-powered Excel modeling solution globally.
