TrojAI Raises $5.75 Million in Seed Round

TrojAI, a Saint John, Canada-based provider of enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) security solutions, raised $5.75 million in seed funding.

The round was led by existing investor Flying Fish, with participation from current investors Build Ventures and Techstars, as well as new investors Alteryx Ventures and Flybridge Capital Partners.

Flying Fish is an early-stage venture firm investing in high-potential AI and ML technology companies across the U.S. and Canada. The firm was founded in 2016 and is based in Seattle, Washington.

This additional capital will support TrojAI's growth and enable enterprises to secure AI models and applications. The funds will be allocated towards product development, sales, marketing efforts, and expanding operations to the U.S. with a new office in Boston, Massachusetts.

Founded in 2019 by James Stewart and Stephen Goddard, TrojAI is a cybersecurity company that offers a comprehensive AI security platform for businesses, assessing the risks of models before deployment and protecting AI applications once they are in production. Its platform empowers enterprises to safeguard applications from real-time threats with TrojAI's firewall.
