Tuna Secures $2 Million in Funding

Tuna, a Florianópolis, Brazil-based startup that offers payment provider integration and anti-fraud solutions, has secured $2 million in funding.

The round was led by ABSeed Ventures, a venture capital firm based in São Paulo, Brazil.The firm invests in B2B, information technology, and SaaS sectors within Brazil and Latin America.

The funds will be used to expand the team and enhance operations in preparation for a Series A round.

Founded by Alexander Tabor, Paul Ascher, and Juan Pascual, Tuna is a SaaS fintech company that provides customization services for companies looking to integrate multiple payment providers and implement anti-fraud strategies. The platform enables fast integration with payment providers through plugins and SDKs, allowing agile adaptation to customer needs. Tuna’s clients include notable brands such as Zé Delivery, Riachuelo, ClickBus, and Reebok.
