The funding round was led by Holland Capital, along with existing investors imec and Seeder Fund.
Holland Capital is an investment firm with over 40 years of experience supporting growth-focused SMEs in the Netherlands and Germany. With offices in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf, the firm specializes in the Healthcare, Technology, and Agrifood-Tech sectors, fostering sustainable and professional partnerships with its portfolio companies.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its international presence, particularly in Western Europe.
Founded by Charles Bouten and Sven Degroote, Uman provides an AI-driven software platform designed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of B2B sales teams. The platform leverages advanced AI technologies, including smart data governance and generative AI, to assist sales professionals in tasks such as meeting preparation, creating sales materials, and personalizing sales pitches. Uman’s AI agent is already employed by leading companies in IT, consultancy, and telecoms, including Proximus, msg global, and DPG Media.
