Uniqkey Raises €5.35 Million in Funding
Uniqkey, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of password and access management solutions, has raised €5.35 million in funding round.
The round was led by Swedish venture capital firm BackingMinds, with support from notable figures including Jesper Zerlang, Lars Ankjer, Otto Krabbe, Rolf Bladt, and various angel investors.
Founded in 2016, BackingMinds is a venture capital firm that supports startup entrepreneurs with non-traditional backgrounds. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, the firm invests in early-stage technology companies.
This capital will be used to expand Uniqkey’s cybersecurity services throughout Europe.
Founded by Hakan Yagci, Uniqkey offers a password and access management solution designed to provide military-grade security in a user-friendly manner for both IT departments and employees. The company integrates encrypted password protection with mobile app logins, offering features such as automatic logins, secure password sharing, and two-factor authentication autofill. Today, Uniqkey protects over 500 SMEs across Europe and has grown to a team of 50 employees.
