Vikk AI Raises $4.2M Seed

Vikk AI, a Long Beach, California-based startup developing an artificial intelligence-powered consumer legal assistant and attorney referral platform, has announced it raised $4.2 million in funding. The total amount includes a $3.5 million seed round and a $700,000 pre-seed round that closed in August 2025.

Investors in the round include tax attorney Ronson Shamoun, personal injury attorney Joe Samo, health executive Brad Jowell, pharmaceutical executive Cooper Collins, and additional undisclosed angel investors.

Vikk AI plans to use the capital for continued software development, including hiring additional engineers. The company also intends to increase brand awareness among potential advertisers, release a lawyer directory, and launch the Vikk Data Hub, which will provide legal search trend data to law firms, insurers, and other enterprises.

Founded in 2019 by Walid Romaya and Tabrez Ebrahim, Vikk AI provides a consumer-facing platform that uses artificial intelligence to help users articulate legal issues and receive an overview of their options. The company also operates a Lawyer Ad Center that allows attorneys to advertise their services based on practice area and location.
