ViralMoment, a Menlo Park, CA-based provider of AI-powered social video insights and analytics, has raised $2.5 million in seed funding.
The round was led by Supernode Global. Other participating funds include Crush Ventures, Duo Partners, Carnegie Mellon University, and Techstars.
Founded in 2016, Supernode Global is a venture capital firm based in London, United Kingdom. The firm seeks to invest in early-stage companies and startups focused on the media-tech sector.
The company will use the funding to expand the capabilities of ViralMoment's video-reading AI and provide comprehensive intelligence to brands and agencies.
ViralMoment is an AI sidekick that delivers AI-powered social video insights, strategy, and analytics. The company’s AI platform analyzes short-form user-generated videos on platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts, offering marketing teams insights into brand mentions, emotions, and products within videos in real time.
