Voxmind Raises £546,491 Pre-Seed

Voxmind, a London, UK-based startup specializing in voice biometrics and deepfake detection, has secured £546,491 in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Ascension Ventures. Additional participants included Mark McDermott, Russell Hart, and members of the Cambridge angel network.

The company will use the capital to support commercial sales efforts within the financial services, telecommunications, and contact centre sectors, optimize its models for edge deployment, and obtain ISO 27001 certification.

Founded in 2024 by CEO Jai Keerthi, Voxmind develops a patent-pending phoneme-frequency extraction engine that analyzes the human vocal tract. The company provides physics-based voice authentication solutions designed to function on-device without the need for GPUs or cloud connectivity. Its technology enables voice authentication and deepfake detection that is language-agnostic and privacy-focused.
