Wakeline Raises €2.1M Pre-seed

Wakeline, a Dusseldorf-based deeptech startup specializing in continuously adaptive artificial intelligence systems, has secured €2.1 million in pre-seed funding.

The funding round was led by TechVision Fonds, an Aachen-based venture capital firm. Additional participation in the round came from the Cologne-based investment firm neoteq ventures.

The company plans to utilize the newly raised capital to further develop its AI platform, accelerate go-to-market strategies, and expand its internal team to support operations across various industrial sectors.

Founded in 2025 by Tim Gulke, Jan Boggering, Simon Sprunker, and Merten Tiedemann, Wakeline develops AI systems capable of learning autonomously during live operation. Inspired by biological learning principles, their technology allows models to integrate new information in real time without being tethered to traditional periodic retraining cycles or reliance on hyperscale cloud infrastructure.
