wert Intelligence Raises $10.88M Series B
wert Intelligence, a South Korea-based technology company specializing in patent and intellectual property data solutions, has secured $10.88 million in a Series B funding round. The company, which provides AI-powered patent research tools, intends to use the capital to accelerate its expansion into the Japanese market and further develop its specialized artificial intelligence capabilities.
This round was led by Altos Ventures, with participation from Albatross Investment.
wert Intelligence plans to utilize the fresh capital to continue building out its patent-focused AI infrastructure and to support its entry into the Japanese market scheduled for the second half of 2026.
Founded in 2015 by patent attorney Jeong-ho Yoon, wert Intelligence develops AI-powered tools for patent search and analysis. The company's flagship technology, PlutoLM, is a large language model trained exclusively on patent data, which powers a suite of eight different software products including Keywert and Keywert Insight. Its platform is currently utilized by approximately 3,000 customers, including major research and development divisions and public institutions in Korea.
