World Labs Raises $1B Series B

World Labs, based in the United States, is a spatial-intelligence startup developing AI-powered 3D environment generation technology. The company has raised $1 billion in its latest funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $1.23 billion since emerging from stealth in 2024.

The round was anchored by Autodesk, a leader in 3D design and engineering software, which contributed $200 million. Additional participants included Nvidia, AMD, Andreessen Horowitz, Fidelity Management and Research, Emerson Collective, and Sea Group.

The newly raised capital is intended to scale the development and distribution of its spatial AI platform, Marble, and to leverage its strategic partnership with Autodesk to integrate its world-modeling technology into enterprise creative and design workflows.

Founded in 2023 by Stanford professor Fei-Fei Li and researcher Justin Johnson, World Labs specializes in spatial intelligence. The company mission centers on the thesis that the next major leap in AI is the ability to reason in three dimensions. Their flagship product, Marble, is a large world model that generates navigable, editable 3D environments from text, photo, and video inputs.
