Wultra Raises €6.8M Series A

Wultra, a Prague-based cybersecurity firm providing post-quantum authentication and digital identity solutions for financial institutions, has announced a €6.8 million Series A funding round. The company, which supports over 70 clients across 25 countries, intends to utilize the capital to scale its platform and accelerate the development of digital identity wallet capabilities for the European market.

The round was led by Seventure Partners. Participating investors included Marc Norlain, Guillaume Despagne, J&T Ventures, and Elevator Ventures.

Wultra plans to use the Series A funding to scale its technology, expand its international operations into the Middle East and the United States, and support clients in preparing for the post-quantum era.

Founded in 2014 by CEO Petr Dvorak, Wultra provides post-quantum-ready authentication and identity solutions designed to help banks and FinTechs strengthen their security, replace legacy authentication methods, and manage identity proofing, transaction authorization, and electronic signatures.
