Ordway Raises $20M Growth Capital

Ordway, a Washington-based billing and revenue automation platform for high-growth businesses, has secured $20 million in new growth capital. The funding, which consists of a mix of equity and debt, will be used to accelerate the development of the company's AI product roadmap and expand its internal research and development capacity.

The funding round was led by Harbert Growth Partners, with additional debt participation provided by Western Alliance Bank's Innovation Banking Group.

Ordway plans to double its R&D budget to accelerate the integration of AI-powered features within its platform. Key focus areas for this investment include the deployment of AI agents designed to automate routine billing, accounting, and investor KPI reporting tasks, as well as the enhancement of its financial reporting suite with new AI-driven forecasting models for revenue growth, churn, and cash flow analysis.

Founded by CEO Sameer Gulati, Ordway provides a cloud-native platform that automates the complex quote-to-cash process for technology-centric organizations. Its product suite helps finance teams manage subscription billing, usage-based pricing, revenue recognition, and self-service checkout workflows to eliminate manual data fragmentation.
