Rivo Raises $2.7M Seed

Rivo, a San Francisco-based consumer fintech startup that provides autonomous cash management solutions, has secured $2.7 million in seed funding. The company has raised a total of $3.1 million to date to further develop its platform that automatically manages household cash flow.

The funding round included participation from South Park Commons, Wisdom Ventures, Script Capital, 645 Ventures, 20VC, and angel investor Jag Duggal.

The company plans to use the new capital to scale its autonomous cash management platform and continue building out its infrastructure to optimize idle cash balances for consumers.

Founded by CEO Ambrish Tyagi, former AI lead at Cruise and Amazon, Rivo helps consumers optimize their idle checking account balances. By connecting to existing bank accounts, the Rivo platform monitors cash flow in real-time and automatically moves funds into higher-yielding US government treasuries, returning the money before bills are due to ensure liquidity without requiring users to switch banks.
