Valendo Health, a New York-based health technology company focused on improving access to specialty medications, has announced the closing of a $14.5 million Series A financing round.
The round was led by BCM Bruker Capital Management. Valendo Health is backed by BCM Bruker Capital Management, A195 Capital, 49th Fund, RIKX Capital, Cecelia Health, and AMCR Institute.
The company plans to use the funding to further develop its technology platform, strengthen its pharmacy and care-coordination capabilities, and expand its work with specialty medical practices across the United States.
Led by co-founder and CEO Ogi Kavazovic, Valendo Health provides specialty clinics with technology and operational support from pharmacists and care coordinators. Its platform enables physicians and pharmacy teams to collaborate through a medically integrated dispensing model, helping patients receive specialty medications more quickly and affordably from care teams they know and trust.
Valendo Health’s broader mission is to make specialty pharmacy more local, coordinated, and patient-centered while improving access to treatments for cancer, autoimmune disorders, and other complex conditions.
